If you are placing a group order that includes custom logo placement, we recommend that the name and title embroidery color is selected from one of the specified pantone embroidery colors in the practice logo. Our customer service manager can help you with that selection/specification on your order. Please call 877.987.7979 for additional guidance with custom logo embroidery. There is an additional one-time charge for logo setup, averaging between $75 and $100 depending on complexity.
The quality of our embroidery work is exceptional. But we do find it challenging to properly space embroidery for those with longer names and/or numerous professional titles. Standard embroidery placement is centered above the left chest pocket, and thus the width of the pocket varies between lab coat sizes 36 and 52. For those ordering smaller sizes 36 and 38, it is up to the customer to minimize the length of embroidery. If more than 28 characters are selected on these sizes, there is a possibility that the lapel may partially cover the first 1-3 letters in the 1st line.
Additional suggestions for those ordering smaller sizes 36 and 38:
- Choose one line, rather than two lines of embroidery
- Keep character limit to 28 (including spaces, periods and commas)
- Do not enter periods (MD rather than M.D.)
- Consider placing multiple titles on a second line
- Consider abbreviating first initial
We do our absolute best to provide quality custom embroidery that is spaced appropriately above the chest pocket. Medelita is not responsible for lapel coverage of embroidery, without exception. Since it is our firm policy that embroidered lab coats may not be returned, we suggest that if you have a very long name and/or concerns about partial coverage of the embroidery, that you take your lab coat to a local embroiderer once received.
