Embroidered garments cannot be exchanged or returned. We suggest that if you are uncertain about sizing or style preference, that you order your first lab coat without embroidery. The next time you order from Medelita, you’ll know what size to order and can include our high-quality customization.
The quality of our embroidery work is exceptional. We do find it challenging to properly space embroidery for those with longer names and/or numerous professional titles. Standard embroidery placement is centered above the left chest pocket, and thus the width of the pocket varies between lab coat sizes 36 and 52. For those ordering smaller sizes 36 and 38, it is up to the customer to minimize the length of embroidery. If more than 28 characters are selected on these sizes, there is a possibility that the lapel may partially cover the first 1-3 letters in the 1st line.
Additional suggestions for those ordering smaller lab coat sizes 36 and 38:
- Choose one line, rather than two lines of embroidery
- Keep character limit to 26 (including spaces, periods and commas)
- Do not enter periods (MD rather than M.D.)
- Consider placing multiple titles on a second line
- Consider abbreviating first initial
Medelita is not responsible for coverage of embroidery, without exception. Since embroidered lab coats may not be returned, we suggest that if you have a longer name and/or concerns about lapel coverage, that you take your lab coat to a local embroiderer once received.
