We recommend NOT ordering up a size. Medelita lab coats are designed to be worn over a scrub top and/or professional clothing, and thus the patterns are factored accordingly. First-time website customers show temptation to order up a size with concerns about comfort. Ordering "up" from your typical clothing size will result in a poorly fitting lab coat. Range of motion is equally important to us, so trust that Medelita lab coats and scrubs are designed for ideal movement in your specific occupation.

Lab coat sizes 0 and 2 run slightly big – so if you normally wear a 2 – order a 0. And if you are between a 2 and a 4 – consider a 2. Sizes 4 – 16 are remarkably true to size. Size 00 is also true to size.

Elsie G. dental lab coat runs one size smaller than other Medelita lab coats.

The Estie and the Elsie G. lab coats are best suited to women with a D cup or greater. These styles have pleats below the bust/above the waist that are extremely flattering.

Most women of tall stature find our 38" lab coats to be well proportioned to their figure. Some prefer to have the sleeves lengthened (at a local tailor) approximately 1 inch. Order the 34" Ellody size 00, the 28” Elizabeth B. size 0, or the 32” Elsie G. size 00 without embroidery. If they fit – great. If not, we’ll email you a UPS Ground return label, free of charge.
