Name: Paul Hanna, PA-C
Title: Physician Assistant
School/Program: Loma Linda University
Currently Wearing: Bernard Slim Fit Lab Coat
Why did you choose your profession?:
I moved from Egypt with one goal: to become a medical provider in the US, as this is where my father was treated and cured of his cancer. My goals are to serve the community here, as well as to go on mission trips in Africa after graduation. My favorite thing about working in medicine as an EMT before starting PA school was the connections I made with my patients, as well as the times we made a difference as a team of medical providers, working to change patients lives for the better
Current Passion Project:
Breast Cancer campaigns are my project or awareness campaign of choice. Personally knowing patients that were affected by breast cancer makes this not only a philanthropist effort but a personal goal to help patients whom are affected by it.
Who was/is your inspiration?
My father is a cancer survivor, he is my inspiration to get into medicine.
Fun Fact 1:
I love to go to the beach and just sit there enjoy the sounds of crashing waves, during studying for my boards I would go and study at the beach it was a great change of scenery
Fun Fact 2:
I love food, I am a foodie. I love trying little mom and pop restaurants they are usually the best.
