E-Commerce Creative Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced E-Commerce Creative Director to amplify our brand and voice. We are a digitally native medical apparel brand, obsessed with eCommerce and building relationships through every interaction.

Reporting to the CEO, the E-Commerce Creative Director will develop and lead a team of creatives. She/He will own all branding touchpoints in close collaboration with the Ecommerce and the Executive team. You will evolve and amplify the Medelita brand aesthetic across the company’s full spectrum, balancing an ambitious design with a product/customer focus perspective. You will gain a deep understanding of the company vision, audience, point of view and evolve the current aesthetic and voice across all channels, pushing the envelope for creative expression without compromising a central product and customer focus.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • The E-Commerce Creative Director has broad oversight over creative design concepts, projects, and workflows.
  • You’ll direct multiple projects to completion, providing the resources and even-keeled management your team needs to deliver strong work consistently.
  • You’ll be a process improvement specialist, constantly vigilant for efficiency boosts or opportunities to drive beneficial collaboration between Brand Manager and Digital Content Manager.
  • The Creative Director partners closely with E-Commerce, Brand Manager, Digital Content Manager, and Executive team to develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the organization’s business objectives and advance our brand and voice.
  • The ideal candidate will have an unbridled passion for design, telling stories of Frontlines Healthcare workers across the globe, and drive to inspire dynamic ideas that connect with all types of audiences.
  • The E-Commerce Creative Director will develop and deliver thought leadership and creative solutions to drive engagement across all channels.
  • Drive and refine how we communicate our brand mission, voice, our customers’ point of view, and value proposition to our esteemed consumers
  • Develop the strategy and design guidelines for Medelita that can be translated across channels ( Website, Digital Marketing, in-person events, when they come back, and print) that are progressive, professional, and differentiated.
  • Enhance an existing culture of innovation and collaboration in all phases of creative work, from concept through production
  • Spearhead and manage content strategy for both small-scale and large-scale projects, harnessing strategy, digital and brand design, compelling content, and technology
  • Develop internal marketing campaigns that translate marketing objectives across business units into clear and motivating creative strategies
  • Analyze brand tracking, market trends, consumer need, and the competitive landscape
  • Use behavioral data and insights to inform and influence the customer journey and experience, ultimately leading to increased engagement and conversion.
  • Meet budget standards by forecasting and managing expenses
  • Provide creative direction on brand-level video, web, and graphic design projects.
  • Establish and track marketing KPIs which align with company goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify new growth opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Instinctive experience with connecting with people through current digital channels.
  • MBA or equivalent working experience.
  • A proven and visible marketing player ( a rising A player or currency industry rockstar) with experience overseeing a team of creatives and/or public relations and media outreach experts.
  • Leadership experience with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Driven by creative intuition but able to gut check and course-correct with data and report results, and optimize using data.
  • Excellent eye for design and typography and the ability to deliver constructive feedback on projects to the creative team.
  • Direct to consumer, multichannel apparel or consumer products adjacent experience in your current or prior position, higher-end price points a plus.
