Customer Experience and Sales Support Specialist

Position Type: Full Time
Location: Laguna Hills, CA


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage email and phone calls from high level clients and executive customers 
  • Using phone and email, respond to and advise customers on products and purchase related questions
  • Service walk-in customers and in person sales 
  • Problem solve purchase issues and customer questions
  • Use all means of contact to portray company values and customer care
  • Collaborate with other departments like shipping, marketing, and embroidery to ensure successful execution of company operations 
  • Fold and prepare garments and products as necessary
  • Other administrative duties include filing, cleaning, and helping to build a brand
  • Technologies used: Excel, Word, Access, Inventory Management Software, Phone Systems

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

Previous work history in any of the following:

- Customer service center
- Clothing or other high end retail
- Hospitals or Physician offices

  • Must be cordial, well-spoken and able to write well
  • Self motivated attitude and willing to learn and get things done
  • Eager to be a part of a fast paced/ growing team environment
  • STRONG attention to detail 
  • Enjoy working with people and developing relationships
  • Highly organized and prompt in deadlines 
  • Experience with clothing terminology a plus but not necessary (ie. Lapel, darting, princess seams etc.)

Embroidery Machine Operator

Responsibilities

  • Work with other departments to ensure timely execution and delivery of embroidered products
  • Digitize and edit logos and custom embroidery
  • Oversee new logo development, confirming all details such as size, color and placement on garment, sew out logo and send for approval
  • Ensure department organization and schedule. Prioritize orders based on due dates, rush requests, etc.
  • Work with customer service department to make sure customer orders get processed correctly and assist with product and embroidery questions
  • Manage machine maintenance, repair, and software (replacing needles or cleaning and oiling machines.)
  • Inspect and report problems with garments as they pass through the embroidery department
  • Occasionally walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 35 lbs while practicing proper safety procedures
  • Manage and create sew out samples
  • Ensure team is using proper procedures and executing according to operational standards
  • Collaborate with team members on training and using embroidery best practices

Medelita is looking for a qualified intern to join our marketing/advertising/web team. Our marketing department produces high quality, innovative branded collateral, and seeks an intern who can participate in various stages of online marketing campaigns.

You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials
  • Assist with fulfillment of marketing offers
  • Assist with execution of trade shows
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of training materials
  • Perform analysis of marketing and sales data
  • Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline

Requirements

Medelita is looking for an undergraduate student in the Orange County area who is majoring in Sales, Marketing or Advertising. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of Web and social media. Word and Excel experience is a bonus, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position. Knowledge of HTML is a major plus, but not necessary as long as you're willing to learn.

Head of Production & Quality

SUMMARY

Medelita is currently seeking a talented Head of Production & Quality to support its scaling e-commerce and wholesale business located in San Clemente, CA. The company manufactures and sells lab coats and medical apparel that is of the highest quality in fashion, performance, and fit.

Our NEW Head of Production & Quality is responsible for producing high-end quality garments, leading the process from concept to delivery, finding innovative ways to solve technical challenges utilizing technical problem solving within the industry parameters. In addition this role is responsible for overseeing quality, and satisfying the highest quality standards while minimizing production costs and delays.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Spearhead restructuring and reorganization of the production department.
  • Oversee a talented Technical Designer and prepare to hire additional production support personnel to balance the department and ensure best possible efficiencies.
  • Work collaboratively with a highly regarded, contracted patternmaker, ensuring accuracy and on-time completion of projects.
  • Manage relationships with overseas factories (all Asia) to ensure all allocated orders are manufactured as per agreed production schedules.
  • Travel to overseas mills and sewing factories in Asia as needed to work closely with managers and line managers to continually escalate quality.  Estimating quarterly visits at this time.
  • Ensure finished goods are manufactured in accordance with the product specifications and the quality of the workmanship meets all specified standards.
  • Lead third party quality control to ensure business requirements are exceeded.
  • Proactively identify, assess and implement alternate sources of supply for bulk materials and finished products.
  • Proactively review supplier compliance, capability and capacity to ensure that existing and future business requirements can be met.
  • Further develop production and sourcing policies and processes to support existing and future business requirements.
  • Prepare and present production status reports at sales and operations planning meetings.
  • Monitor weekly WIP reports and ensure all agreed timelines are met
  • Oversee third party inspection, making it the most robust, informative, dialed process that allows for zero risk and factory accountability.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Technical expertise in production with wovens and tailored garments.
  • Prior similar role with international tailored garment apparel brand (or similar category).
  • Intimate understanding of end-to-end supply chain requirements (product design and development, sourcing, apparel manufacturing and quality control).
  • Highly skilled production lead with:
    • Production and capacity planning background.
    • Working knowledge in Excel, Gerber, PDM/PLM software.
    • Ability to take over or give direction on most sewing machines or cutting operation – significant experience in factories is a must.
    • Capability to manage production at high volume, balancing both planned and urgent orders.
    • A track record of consistently meeting production deadlines and ensuring product specifications and quality standards are exceeded.
    • Strong supplier management skills to ensure compliance with vendor expectations and supplier code of ethics.
    • Experience in identifying, assessing and implementing alternate sources of supply for bulk materials and finished products.
    • Aptitude for collating and analyzing data and preparing reports.
    • Prior experience presenting at executive level management meetings.
