Lina Romhen is a Registered Dietitian and current Physician Assistant student from New Jersey. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Montclair State University, where she maintained the Dean's list for all four years and graduated Cum Laude.
Romhen is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiology (APAC). Lina has shown her compassion and leadership in being affiliated with the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) where she helps by traveling to aid in humanitarian assistance for Syrians in need. Outside of her work and studies, Lina enjoys spending time with her loved ones and volunteering to help children with special needs.
In her own words,
"My favorite thing about my job is being able to help people become healthier and more confident in their own skin. A healthy lifestyle can be created by healthy habits, not restrictions. Being in PA school, you encounter all types of specialties and help people of all kinds. It is very important to have leadership and communication skills, particularly the ability to work with others of diverse interests and backgrounds.
Being a Medelita HIP Ambassador is a deeply rewarding opportunity both on a personal level and in terms of my career aspects. Being able to shine light on the importance behind this company in empowering women in the medical field is a tremendous opportunity and it is an honor for me to do so!"
